Teatteri Metamorfoosi

Teatteri Metamorfoosi is a Finnish theatre group specialized in masks. It was founded in 2005.

In addition to making mask performances, Teatteri Metamorfoosi is also doing research related to masks, making masks and using masks as a tool in a theatre pedagogy. Teatteri Metamorfoosi is highly influenced by the pedagogy of Lecoq.

Theatre organizes every other year an international mask theatre festival MasQue in Helsinki. The next festival will take place 20.-23.10.2011.

Teatteri Metamorfoosi is part of the Produforum, which is a platform for independent artists and art managers. www.produforum.fi . Produforum, where Metamorfoosi is having it's office, is situated in Korjaamo Cultural Factory, Töölönkatu 51 B, 00250 Helsinki.
