AIMED FOR

The workshop is open for all performing arts professionals, students and amateurs interested in improving their physical theatre skills.

No need for previous mime experience.

DESCRIPTION

Gassot’s four days mime course explores how individual stationary points can form living entities on stage? How to use mime as a set? The students will also learn things about the timing and rhythm of physical comedy. The teaching of the course is based on Lecoq's approach.

 

TEACHER

Marc Gassot is a freelancer actor based in Helsinki. He has acted in various tv-series and theatre productions. He graduated as an actor from the Theatre Academy of Finland and from École Internationale de Théâtre Jacques Lecoq. His special skills are mime and clownery.
